
The shopping basket in the country has increased by 16.8% in the period from January to July 2022 according to a study presented by NielsenIQ
The growth in value was “driven by an increase in product prices and an increase in consumption that accelerated during the seventh month of the year by 4.6% compared to 2021.”
Only for that month the variation in value was 20.6%. In the last moving year (July 2021 to July 2022), the volume registered a growth of 3.1%, while in value the basket grew by 14.9%.
This increase is good news for the industrial sector, it is news to celebrate since the economy of our country is growing and that is a source of pride.
