There are a large number of types of screws, all based on the use and the material to which they will be used.
From H3 we want to expand this information:

1. Wood screws
As the name suggests, these screws are designed to join wood to wood. Its thread occupies a large part of the screw with a smooth shank above it. There are many diameters and head shapes.

2. Sheet metal screws
These types of screws can be used for multiple purposes. They feature a thread and a sharp point for working with metal, plastic and wood. Also, most sheet metal screws are self-tapping.

3. Allen head screws
This type of screw has a cylindrical head to use with an Allen key.
They are typically used to join metal to metal, and must be installed firmly to ensure a secure fit.

4. Self tapping screws
Self-tapping screws drill their own holes when screwing into materials like wood, plastic, and metal. They are perfect for combining two different types of materials or for screwing in areas that can only be accessed from one side.
