Another of the good news with which we have started this first quarter is business growth in Colombia.
At the end of 2021, a total of 470,579 active companies were counted in Bogotá and the Region.
As of December 2021, there were 470,579 active companies in Bogotá and the Region, according to data from the commercial registry of the Bogotá Chamber of Commerce. 5% more than the companies that registered in 2020, but 6% less than those that existed in 2019, before the covid-19 pandemic arrived.
Access to financing to improve business implementation and competitiveness is one of the keys to this strengthening.
The strengthening in the digital part was so great that it is currently the main sales channel and what allowed many companies to stay afloat during the pandemic. Once again the Colombian people demonstrate the value that characterizes them and we are an example of work, struggle and effort.
